SMITHFIELD, R.I.—FGX International announced that it has completed the acquisition of Three Hundred Ltd., a privately held sunglass company headquartered in Chessington, England, that trades as Fabris Lane Ltd. The acquisition also includes Three Hundred Limited’s fast growing online retail operation, Red Hot Sunglasses. The deal was previously announced at the end of February.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. FGX International is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Essilor International.

Fabris Lane, a business with a 33-year history, is a specialist eyewear company engaged in the sale of sunglasses. It sells to a wide range of retailers and opticians groups in 20 countries worldwide. Fabris Lane holds licensed brands including Karen Millen, Lipsy, Animal, French Connection and Oliver Goldsmith and owns a portfolio of established brands including Monkey Monkey, M:UK, Freedom Polarised and Suuna. Fabris Lane also provides its customers with own label solutions using its in-house design capabilities and established supply chain and testing facilities.
